As the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Kazakhstan, Ilia Psaltirov said: music and culture are very important components of each person's life, helping to bring the two countries closer together. "The festival is held at a time when there is such a big manifestation in Astana as EXPO, I think that the Spirit of Astana is a very good project not only for the capital of Kazakhstan, but also for the guests who have come here. This is a very famous festival. I think that Astana also needs such an event, it's a very good idea," - the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in Kazakhstan said.

"Jjubojna are very famous musicians in Macedonia, they have been awarded with the title of the band of the year. Last year we also organized several joint events.  This was very good concerts. Your artists often perform in Macedonia, like ours in Kazakhstan. For two and a half years since the opening of the embassy in Astana, cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Macedonia have been developing (...) They are very important , so that people get to know each other, I am very glad that so many people are interested in Macedonian culture and music. The history of Kazakhstan is exciting. And this is a very good opportunity to show Astana and Kazakhstan to our sitizens. This is another step in our cooperation. Only through culture we can open the doors to other areas, such as economy or education, " - he said.

"This is our first visit to Astana, Kazakhstan, we are full of emotions, we are here only for two days, but we feel like we have been here for a month, there are so many places to see, enjoy, feel, it is an important and big festival. Here we saw many other bands, we had good impressions from the Kazakh public, and we hope that we will be able to perform here again. We  have managed to establish a good connection with people," -  Jjubojna band members shared their impressions.

The festival continued with the performance of Edil Khussainov and Satzhan Project from Kazakhstan. He came to the stage together the jazz band Satzhan Project, who always tried to adhere to national cultural traditions. Their music was changing from the classical rhythm of jazz to the amazing throat singing by Edil Khussainov. The audience was delighted at the moment when, unexpectedly from the stage, a song of Abai Kunanbayev's song "Kozimnіқarasy", familiar to Kazakhstanis, sounded.
